About Brian Walker
Brian Walker is a 62-year-old man who has been married to the same woman for 35 years. He is the proud father of three grown children and grandfather to four grandchildren. He currently resides in Urbana, Illinois, where he was also born and raised in nearby Champaign.
From 1981 to 1985, Brian served in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he built a successful career as a general manager for a seed corn dealership, a role he held for 15 years.
In 2019, his life took a dramatic turn when he suffered three debilitating strokes that severely damaged the left side of his brain. Despite the extent of this challenge, Brian has shown remarkable resilience—regaining his ability to walk and going on to accomplish something extraordinary: writing two books.
His story stands as a testament to perseverance, determination, and the strength of the human spirit.
